ABOUT US
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. In 2011, Dr. Cobb, EducatHer CEO/President, took a risk and began teaching at a PWI as an adjunct professor. Her journey has included some celebrations, but more challenges. Throughout this journey she has been awarded multiple Outstanding Teaching awards, served with several professional and community organizations, and continuously earned the respect of peers and students. During her matriculation to her current position as an assistant professor, the experiences and trials she has encountered inspired the idea to create a platform that would offer what she needed during her personal journey. EducatHer emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support women from all walks of life and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 2021, we are an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.
